On Memorial Day we got invited to a picnic that the Courteau extended family were organizing since Ryan and Melissa were in town for a few days visiting. It has been about 2 years since their last visit. It was nice to be with our many Mounds Park friends for the day. It actually felt like summer...it got really warm in the afternoon. The kids even went into the lake (at Carver Lake), but brrrr that water was still freezing...of course the kids didn't care. There were some games, and lots and lots of food shared. Lots of good conversation too, with a fun mix of friends. I only had my phone with me and didn't take many pics, but of course at least a few to jog the memory of a fun day. Thanks to our friends for including us!
