20111029- St Louis Adventure

We took a little (ok long) roadtrip back in October to attend the wedding reception of Megan (Totushek) and Nehemiah Anderson.  It was certainly a long drive, but we did have a really fun weekend, and it was great to be part of the memories of that special event.  We spent a night just outside of Desmoines on the way down to break it up since we left after work on a Friday night and then Saturday we stopped to see the famous Gateway Arch in St Louis before the festivies.  After our night of association and fun, on Sunday before heading back home we spent the morning at the St Louis Zoo.  It is a free zoo, and such a neat place! It was huge! we were there for a couple of hours, but only saw a part of it - will have to go back again some year. Then the long trek home to get back for work and school the next day.  A whirlwind adventure!! :)
